WHERE CURIOSITY TURNS INTO CONFIDENCE
NextGen Foundations is TEEDC’s collection of short, high-energy learning experiences designed to introduce youth to entrepreneurship, creativity, leadership, and real-world problem solving—without pressure, prerequisites, or long-term commitments.
These experiences are playful by design and intentional in impact. They spark curiosity, build confidence, and help young people see themselves as thinkers, creators, and problem-solvers—often for the very first time.
Whether delivered during the school day, after school, or at a community event, NextGen Foundations experiences feel fun to students and purposeful to adults.
NextGen Foundations experiences are built to fit naturally into the environments where young people already learn and gather, including:
-
School-day rotations and enrichment blocks
-
Afterschool and extended learning programs
-
Community-based youth events
-
Summer camps and seasonal programming
-
Partner organization spaces
They’re flexible, adaptable, and easy to integrate—making them a natural fit for schools and organizations looking to add meaningful, engaging experiences without overhauling their schedule.

Move & Play Learning Lab turns movement into a learning tool. Students work through guided activities that blend physical motion, teamwork, and creative thinking—helping them communicate, collaborate, and solve problems in real time.
It’s energetic, joyful, and intentionally designed to build confidence. Students who may not always shine in traditional settings often light up here.
Especially powerful for younger learners and students who learn best by moving, doing, and engaging.

Lemonade Stand Jam introduces students to money management and entrepreneurship in a fun, active, and age-appropriate way. The experience begins with movement-based activities tied to entrepreneurial traits like decision-making, teamwork, and problem-solving.
Students then bring those ideas to life by creating business names, designing lemonade stand signs, promoting their stand, and ultimately making their own lemonade.
It’s hands-on, creative, and memorable—helping students understand how ideas, money, and effort come together in a real-world way.

Sockpreneur invites students to turn imagination into a business idea through a fun, hands-on design experience. Students explore product ideation, branding, and creative presentation while designing their own sock-based concept.
From naming their brand to shaping how it’s presented, students think through how a product connects with an audience. At the end of the experience, each student goes home with the sock they created—a tangible reminder of their creativity and entrepreneurial thinking.
It’s playful, expressive, and especially empowering for creative thinkers discovering how ideas can turn into something real.
