LEARN. GROW. LEAD.
ABOUT US
OUR MISSION
At the Entrepreneur Education Development Center (TEEDC), we believe that knowledge is the key to opportunity. Our mission is to empower young people—especially those from underprivileged communities—by teaching them the skills they need to think like entrepreneurs, manage their finances, and build successful futures. Through hands-on learning, mentorship, and real-world business experiences, we equip the next generation with the confidence and tools to create their own paths and leave a lasting impact.
OUR HISTORY & BACKGROUND
TEEDC was founded with one goal in mind: to give young people the opportunities and resources to succeed in business and life. Created by Irvon Plummer, TEEDC started as a passion project to bridge the gap between traditional education and real-world entrepreneurship. It all began with Shop With a Boss, a program that helps inner-city families during the holiday season while teaching kids financial responsibility. From there, TEEDC grew into a movement, launching BeyondCon, an annual youth entrepreneurship conference, and forming partnerships with schools, businesses, and community organizations. Today, we continue to expand our reach, ensuring that more young minds have access to the mentorship and education they need to thrive.
IMPACT &
SUCCESS STORIES
TEEDC isn’t just about teaching entrepreneurship—it’s about changing lives. Through BeyondCon, students have connected with successful business owners, gaining hands-on experience and insider knowledge on how to launch and grow their own ventures. Shop With a Boss has not only provided financial assistance to families in need but has also sparked an entrepreneurial mindset in young people, helping them see the value of financial literacy and smart decision-making. Our partnerships with organizations like United Way, Target, and the Children’s Services Council have allowed us to reach even more students, giving them access to life-changing opportunities. At TEEDC, we don’t just talk about success—we create it.
